Little Story “Bout Joseph”

Let me tell ya little story ‘bout a man Joseph
He was his daddy’s fav’rite, so he got good stuff.
Got a coat of many colors and it made his

brothers mad,
So they sold him as a slave and told their daddy
He was dead.

He was taken down to Egypt, into Potiphar’s house.
He had a little trouble with Potiphar’s spouse.
She told some lies about him, so they tossed him ill jail,
But he was part of God’s plan that would not fail.

Then one night old Pharaoh had a dream,
And God had Joseph tell him what did it mean.
So Pharaoh made Joseph second in command,
And now old Joseph was ruler of the land.

So then one day Joseph’s family came down
His daddy was happy his son had been found.
Joseph’s brothers were scared thought he’d beat
Then with a rod,
But Joseph showed them the love of God.
